Hanghang An, the associate professor and Master`s Supervisor of Collaborative Innovation Center of Steel Technology. He received his bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Northeastern University (NEU) in 2007, his master's degree in Ferrous Metallurgy from University of Science & Technology Beijing (USTB) in 2010. After graduation that he worked as a R&D technician of continuous casting design technology in CCTEC from January 2010 to August 2014. Subsequently, he received his Ph. D.in Metallurgical Engineering from University of Science & Technology Beijing (USTB) in 2018. After that he carried out his research as a postdoctoral fellow in from University of Science & Technology Beijing (USTB) from March 2018 to December 2019. His recent research interests mainly focused on high-effective continuous casting (CC) technology of high-quality special steel especially in process control and the quality analysis and improvement, multi field coupling simulation of CC process and CC process control model. In recent years, 13 school-enterprise cooperation projects were carried out with major domestic special steel enterprises as a chief and the important role. Besides, he also chaired one project supported by Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities and two Evaluation of Transformation Projects. He obtained one provincial-level scientific and technological progress award, published 11 SCI&EI retrieved papers in famous metallurgical journals both domestically and internationally, the English sole monograph and obtained 3 national invention patents. Moreover, he served as Youth Editorial Member of the journal of China Metallurgy, Special Steel and Iron and Steel Research.
