【Biography】

Mr. Zhao Aimin was graduated from Beijing University of Iron and Steel (now Beijing University of Science and Technology) and obtained bachelor's degree in 1986, master's degree in 1989, and PhD in Engineering in 2000. After graduating from a master's degree, He became a teacher. From 1990 to 1991, he participated in university teacher social practice at Baosteel Co. And from 2002 to 2003, he visited Aachen University of Technology in Germany as a visiting professor. Currently, he is the Director Research Institute of High-quality Special Steel, and also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the wear-resistant materials academic committee of the Chinese Society of Metals, Vice Chairman of the Joint Structural Steel Expert Committee of the China Mechanical Engineering Association and the China Automotive Engineering Society, and Vice Chairman of the Galvanizing Expert Committee of the Metallurgical Industry International Service Center of the China Equipment Management Association. We have undertaken some scientific research projects, including National 863, 973, National Natural Science Foundation of China, National Key R&D Plan, and enterprise cooperation projects. Published over 300 papers, and obtained over 30 authorized invention patents. Since 1996, he has supervised over 120 graduate students, including 39 PhD students. Has won awards such as the Beijing Excellent Teacher, China Metallurgical Science and Technology Award, and China Mechanical Industry Science and Technology Award.
