Ruijie Zhang

Associate Professor

Ruijie Zhang got his PhD degree from Northwestern Polytechnical University in 2004. The major is materials processing technology. From 2004 to 2006, He worked as the post doctor in the department of mechanical engineering in Tsinghua University. From 2007 to 2010, he was an engineer in the Materials Department in Ford Motor Company, USA. He was responsible for the integrated design of automotive parts. He joined University of Science and Technology Beijing in 2011.

His research interests are Microstructure evolution and control during materials processing, Integrated computational materials engineering, Automotive materials and lightweight design, Integrated design and manufacturing of mechanical parts.
