The research and development project titled "High-Temperature Sintering Process Simulation for Refractory Metal Materials." The project's acceptance work was conducted at the headquarters of Iron & Steel Research Institute An Tai on September 6, 2023. Professor Yin Haiqing, the director of the Materials Design and Optimization Institute at University of Science and Technology Beijing, and Assistant Professor Wang Yongwei presented the project during the acceptance.
The expert panel for the project acceptance included key members such as Dr. Wang Tiejun, Vice General Manager of An Tai Technology; Dr. Kuang Chunjiang, Senior Expert at An Tai Technology; Dr. Li Qiang, Executive Deputy Director of the Technical Center at An Tai Technology; Dr. Xiong Ning, Vice General Manager of An Tai Tungsten and Molybdenum Technology; Dr. Liang Jingbin, Executive Deputy General Manager of An Tai Technology; Dr. He Dupeng, Deputy Director of the Development and Operation Department at the Digital Research and Development Center of Iron & Steel Research Institute; and Zhao Yan, Assistant General Manager at An Tai Technology.
The project achieved the development of a high-density resistance heating furnace W5 sintering simulation model and an induction heating box-type furnace sintering simulation model. This breakthrough addressed the tracking and description of temperature fields inside the furnace body, sintered product temperature fields, and stress-strain fields during the sintering process. It enabled the visualization of temperature fields inside the furnace body, airflow velocity fields, product temperature fields, and stress-strain fields, thereby achieving the project's research objectives.
